I don't usually leave reviews, but trying to book an appt with this company has been a complete nightmare. It's been almost a year and a half & they kept canceling my appts with no explanation. Their communication skills are terrible. I have tried several times to get an understanding of what the issue is but the owner does not have the maturity level to have an adult conversation. I have been hesitant in trying Raising Queens Braids for my two daughters because I felt it might be just another “kid” salon that wouldn’t quite deliver. But from the moment I reached out to them to inquire about a same day appointment, they were outstanding in their customer service, from answering my many questions to the two stylists - Tami and Zakia being so kind, informative, and patient. Ariana at Raising Queens has braided my 9yr olds hair 2x now and we’ve loved the results both times. Definitely will be booking her again as she does a great job, is attentive, provides a great atmosphere and repeatedly asks n makes sure that she’s ok and comfortable. See y'all soon!
