We had a great weekend, camping and viewing the equipment and presentations!
I went with my American Heritage Girls troop for the astronomy program and camping. This may very well be the coolest place I have ever been. I learned so much on this trip. We learned about constellations and changes in the sky throughout the year, got to look through a telescope and see a very detailed view of the moon as well as the rings of Saturn and some of it's moons. And he gave us a lesson on the phases of the moon that very well might be the best explanation I have ever seen. This is an amazing place for any group.... read more
