Capt. Rich and Mike were great. Had us on the water before sunrise. It took a while to find the fish, but we managed to catch 9 lake trout, 4 coho and 1 steelhead. Nice size to all of them. Equipment was very good. Conversation was fine. The only trouble was we lost two due to faulty knots. That happens during fishing. All in all a great day. I'd rebook with Rich.
This was our 5th trip with Capt. Rich and he always manages to find us fish.The weather was less than pleasant with rain, wind and 3 foot swells but we still left with 9 Coho and 1 big Brown Trout. We had a total of 15 hits and one fish I reeled in was to small to keep. We have had much better fishing with Rainmaker but you can't expect to always catch a near limit. I can't find a guide who does this for less money.
Capt. Rich and Charlie make a great team and they both made this charter such fun! We caught some big King and Coho Salmon!
