I’m so glad I found Jen Reed! I stopped a woman on the street and said I love your haircut, I’m asking everyone about short-haircut stylists, did you by chance get it cut on the WS Peninsula? She said yes! and it was Jen Reed. Rainier Hair Studio is located just a bit south of the bus stop at California/Findlay. Multiple previous good experiences. Then today I was literally six minutes late to a trim appointment with a stylist I hadn't seen before (needed a last minute clean-up). I was apologizing when I got there but the response was just "I almost marked you a no-show. We need to be quick or I'll miss my lunch and I'm starving." There had been no attempt to contact me, and no hello when I got there, just that rude greeting. I have made 2 appointments with this studio. Both on Saturday mornings. Both times, I received a text message within one hour of my appointment time to cancel my appointment because the stylist was sick. Once is understandable. Two times in a row? I'm done.
I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now, specifically seeing Desiree. Every once in a while I come to her with these projects of completely transforming my hair, and every time she delivers. From copper red, to pink, to blonde. Not thinking it was possible to top the last color. And I’m a low-maintenance girly, so I’m not as good about coming in as often as I should.
