This was my second time getting my hair cut by Megan and again, I am very happy with the cut and service. I would definitely visit again. The salon is also very cute. Thank you for making my hair dreams come true.
Solid meh. I wanted to like the place. Close to home, good politics, woman owned. But idk, the vibes were off when I went in May 2025. Maybe Jen had a shitty client before me... idk. Maybe I'll try another stylist bc this place is sooo convenient but that put a bad taste in my mouth.
I’m so glad I found Jen Reed! I stopped a woman on the street and said I love your haircut, I’m asking everyone about short-haircut stylists, did you by chance get it cut on the WS Peninsula? She said yes! and it was Jen Reed. Rainier Hair Studio is located just a bit south of the bus stop at California/Findlay. Multiple previous good experiences. Then today I was literally six minutes late to a trim appointment with a stylist I hadn't seen before (needed a last minute clean-up). I was apologizing when I got there but the response was just "I almost marked you a no-show. We need to be quick or I'll miss my lunch and I'm starving."
