The water was clean and warmer than I expected. The area was clean and I felt comfortable leaving my chairs and towels on the beach while I went out on the water.
Water and area was nice. It was just hard to find a spot to park while towing a trailer, and then having to carry kayaks, kids, and gear, 60-70 yards down a loose rock hill.
The view its nice but the lake not so clean

We love rainbow bay. There’s enough parking in the lot and along the road. Lots of places to picnic in the shade if you come early enough. It does get busy, so come in the morning. Don’t recommend coming on weekends or holidays because it’s not very enjoyable with the crowds. The paddle boarding and kayaking is great in this area. Lots of rocky beach and plenty of trees.
