Wow. I love this place for the retro vibe. So relaxing. So much hiking around so you really zonk if you hike. (at the very least you should walk to the big cedar) Our room had 2 bedrooms We had a hard and a soft bed and a bathroom and all the free coffee we could drink, which is a big plus when you drink as much coffee as we do. Rooms are old, musty and warm during hot summer months, the wi-fi is horrible like mostplacesin the park, but the great views of Lake Quinault and Olympic foothills, close proximity to largest Sitka tree, numerous trails, a restaurant and a convenient store can't be beat.
We stayed in RV site 31 with a beautiful view of Lake Quinault. All sites have water and electric hookups, and are grassy, which was great for our pups. The gentleman at check in was so friendly and helpful. There are coin operated showers, and although we didn't use them, they looked clean and well kept. The only drawback is no sewer hookups and no dump station within 30 miles, making it difficult to stay longer than a few days. Overall, this was a lovely campground and would highly recommend.
The staff was so friendly and the views were great. Ian and Aldo were really helpful with all of the info and would definitely recommend this place. The room and bathroom were decently clean
Wow, the location of this resort is stunning and the rooms have so much potential, but ultimately are a horrible value for the price. We stayed in one of the kitchen cabins, which are adorable from the outside. However, when we walked in, I was originally shocked by the grossest carpet I've ever seen in my life. It looked at least 20 years old. After that initial bad surprise we were welcomed with black mold in the bathroom, extremely dirty windows, and a grody kitchen sponge used by previous guests.
