I hired Rain Day Irrigation, Inc. to install a sprinkler system at my new home in Katy. The total cost was $4,358.00. While the system was installed and is operational, the overall experience fell short of the professionalism I expected. During installation, the crew uncovered a significant amount of trash buried by the builder—pieces of wood, bricks, even cement chunks. I had a yard drain installed with three catches a discharge at the curb and connected to my downspout. Prospero And his team did a great job on everything and was a great price! I will definitely use them again for any of my irrigation needs.
Zachariah arrived at the expected time. He introduced himself and we walked around my home to check out my current RAINBIRD setup. He made a quick trip to the warehouse to pick up a new RAINBIRD panel box. Zach also replaced some original heads that were not functioning properly. We had a drainage problem on our backyard pavers when it rained or we ran our sprinkler system. Water would accumulate for days and turn the pavers slimy. Rarely did it ever dry out. Rain Day Irrigation provided us a solution at a fair price. The work was done in a day and a half with minor disruption to our grass and yard. Rain Day did an awesome job. Installed new surface drains and tied downspouts into drainage. Replaced old sprinkler heads and brought them up to correct height. Scraped old sod away, put down new topsoil and new sod. Also installed black star gravel on both sides of the house. All while keeping the impact to my neighbors at a minimum by cleaning up at the end of each day. Others will quote you a cheaper price and their work will reflect it.
