With over 35 years of experience in construction and home building in the Vancouver area we are a one stop shop. RainCity Decks has been restoring decks and rotten walls through the “leaky condo crisis” of the 2000’s and with 100’s of jobs completed on time we pride ourselves in doing the job right.

Well, what started as a project where I thought I had picked the right contractor , quickly went south on me. As agreed I would pay for additional work for replacing any damaged plywood decking, well they replaced 9 sheets and charged back 52 hrs at $115.00 . That’s more than 7.5 hrs per sheet?? Then I discovered they wanted to charge me for garbage bags , safety goggles etc. I did get them to adjust these as it was not realistic. Despite some scheduling challenges, Rain City Decks did a great job replacing an old Duradeck. The crew took pride in their work, and kept the site clean during the install. There were some tricky bits to deal with but everything was restored perfectly. When you rip up an old deck, there are always surprises and any additional necessary work that wasn’t quoted for was clearly explained in advance. Thank You Rain City.

Don't bother with these guys they don't have a clue they hire new employees and then go out of business stay far far away
Rain City replaced our 4th floor condo deck with red cedar in May 2025. Their team were a really nice bunch who worked hard and cheerily. Nick, the boss, was true to his word and he was always very reliable and efficient. I heartily recommend Rain City to anyone who needs deck work.
