Room was very clean but needed updating and maintenance. Location was great and staff were lovely. Lots of parking.

First impressions was it was out of the way. We arrived after 7pm and called the phone number and was told to wait 10min. (I think they were out ) Smelled clean and fresh when got to the room. No carpet which was dissapointing for a winters night stay. Bonus was the aircon heater. We cranked up the heater, put my socks on (I only had white ones which was a bad idea as the floor was not clean) and settled in. No exhaust fan for the bathroom and the mirrors were tiny. We checked in quite late, but the manager was extremely helpful and welcoming. The check-in process was smooth, and the service exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and friendly stay!

Had an overnight stay recently. Very close to train station which is partly why it was selected. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Liked the fact there was no carpet. Arrived late in afternoon and owner was very friendly. Breakfast was great.....probably the best I have had at any accomodation. Healthy Greek yoghurt, lovely muesli and juices on offer. Interesting railway museum to peruse. Lovely patio area to enjoy breakfast in the sun. Can highly recommend.

I stayed at the Railway lodge with my family on the drive up to QLD. The accommodation is unique. The room was large and clean and it was in a convenient location minutes from everything in Taree. Check-in was quick and easy and although basic. The room had everything we needed and the beds were comfy. I’ll stay here again when doing another long drive.
