Must have been a different place? We stayed here in 2002 and really enjoyed it. The restored rail car was quaint, clean, and quite comfortable. Our kids thought it was really cool to sleep stay here.
Thought we were being "Punked" at First We stayed here while on our way to Seattle because it seemed like it would have more character than a regular motel. Well, it certainly did. After spending almost half an hour searching for someone to check us in, the woman who finally did reeked of alcohol and could hardly function. The other staff person who eventually wandered in didn't even try to help her. We later learned she was the owner! That may explain the general lack of sanitation and disrepair.
