I am an Australian travelling the world with my family. 7 weeks ago I had an emergency operation in Switzerland. Since the operation I have been experiencing pain as we have moved from country to country. Today I visited Raigmore Hospital. From the moment I walked through the doors I was treated incredibly well. Firstly by the receptionist, sorry I didn't get your name. You were wonderful. Picked up a client today after having a small opp, this lady has ms, and was in a sorry state when we picked her up, not sat in her electric wheelchair correctly, !!!!!! her oxygen tube was in her nose but wasn't turned on !!!!!!! No shoes on her feet and feet were resting on a metal ridge of her foot plate !!!!!! No incontinence pad on !!!!!! Knickers and trousers only pulled upto the top of her legs , no where near her bottom!!!!!!! I think as a carer that all this is appalling, staff weren't very helpful even though they ... read more
The service at this hospital is akin to its inception date. Absolutely dire !! It seems that the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. It's time to wake up and get back to the 21st century. It's a worrying fact that the current service is in line with the 70s and gradually going backwards!! No point telling me to contact your follow up team, answer machine. Complaints phone not manned. The word " attrition " comes to mind.
