I was so very impressed with Dr Thampi! I went in quite distressed about a condition and he thoroughly and patiently explained what I was experiencing. He answered all my questions, addressed all my concerns, and I left with a detailed plan of action. I don't think I've ever felt as respected and valued by a physician. Highly recommend him to anyone!
Only giving one star because I have to. My daughter saw Dr Tampi for a thyroid biopsy and his bedside manner was horrible. When she complained about being in pain from the procedure (she is not whimpy and was literally crying) he did not inject more local to make her more comfortable. He offered to stop the procedure and not get the needed specimens if she couldn’t handle it. Went to Dr Thampi yesterday at Diabetes and Endocrinology at St Francis..he was horrible 😫 he talked about how I was obese the whole time and how fat I am! He asked me if I wanted to go on weightloss shots or weightloss surgery? I said, well... You gotta understand, I'm not even that overweight I have tried many things to lose some weight infact I lost 22 lbs and gained it back and up and down but trying hard to lose but again, I am not severely obese either.. this was not what my appointment was for..?
