Dr Chavan was very thorough he answered all of my questions. The staff was pleasant and I felt seen and heard. I would absolutely recommend him.
I had an appointment with Chavan where he recommended the Mohs procedure on the back of my hand to remove a lesion. In my research after the appointment, they say that is the worst area for the Mohs procedure. They said some doctors use that procedure to earn extra revenue from their investment in the Mohs equipment. When I told Chavan's office that I was seeking a second opinion about his recommendation, he had his office manager tell me he would no longer treat me. He refused to talk with me about it himself!
