WOWZA!!! Great fun, food and dancing to the great music - is all found at Ragtime. I've been coming here for 20 some years while vacationing in PVB. Since moving here, Ragtime is still my favorite time! Try it - you'll love it!
Good Food, Good Beers, Good Staff, Good prices – Visited Rag Time 11/08/08, there were five of us. Three ordered paella, which was incredible, a must have....don't forget to ask for bread to sop up the savory broth. My girlfriend had the cajun seafood pasta which was also delicious, light cajun cream sauce, tons of different pieces of seafood, like the paella. Might be a little rich for some. Ragtime for a good time! There is always a crowd here, which speaks highly of the atmosphere! The food here is good as is the service. The microbrewery offers flavorful beer. A great place to kick back with friends and enjoy
Good food and great ale. – I stopped in at the bar and had the fried oysters and the blackened scallops appetizers. The scallops were very good, but the fried oysters were a bit soggy, as if they had been sitting on the shelf a few minutes before serving. I also ordered a stout, which was great. The bar tender was friendly and the service was good. The Ragtime falls in line with most of the restaurants in the beach area.... average.
You rock! – You're perfect! Friendly bar tenders, fast service and delicious food. Great experience for all those who like to dine out. YUMMY!
Better than Sundog – This restaurant is better than Sundog if you order the right stuff on the menu. That's the problem though, you either have to sit through sub-par meals or go with a regular to know what not to eat. But, if is a good place for a date, but don't leave your date at the table...it's kind of a meat market and the married men are out in force. So she may not be there when you return....
Good seafood – Ragtime has good food and an even better staff. Whether you are there for business or pleasure, ragtime has a wide array of menu selections and a great drink menu. Great night dining and atmosphere!
Not so good aniversary – Went with wife on Aniversary. Was seated looking out dirty window. Noticed spider weaving web up window casing. My wife and I both felt and saw a fly buzzing around our legs. I ordered blackened flounder with barbecued oysters. The plate came out and the fish looked good, but the oysters consisted of three clumps of fryed batter. FUN place GOOD food CHALENGING parking – A lively young crowd hangs out here in this local brewpub / restaurant. Considering it's popularity, the service is quite efficient. My friends always order the Ahi tuna and love it; I am hooked on the shrimp and grits (don't knock it if you haven't tried it! It's great). Diner for 3 with drinks came to about $75, not bad for good food and a fun night out.
