My husband and I were so excited for a quick little getaway. We usually go to the Newberry or four seasons. Upon arrival we were told there was a wedding so it was very disappointing that the speakeasy bar and lounge was unavailable for our stay. We found the clientele at night at the only bar that was open had a lot of rift raft, hardly any people actually in the hotel staying most people just visiting. It felt like a cheap night club. Views from the 19th floor are excellent!
This hotel experience was top notch, from pre-check-in to check-out. The hotel and butler service went above and beyond to ensure my partner and I had the best time. We loved the furnishings and bathroom of our suite, and the view over the Charles River was wonderful to wake up to each morning. Furthermore, the pool and fitness facilities are world-class, certainly the best at any hotel in Boston. For those who travel internationally and have high expectations, this is the only hotel in Boston to stay at.
