Raffensberger Photography really started in 1959 when my father Roy M. Raffensberger met my mother Patricia M. Yoe, while stationed at Rickenbacker Air Force Base as a photographer. Some say I was born with a camera in my hand. At the young age of 5 or so I can remember printing black and white photographs in my parent's basement where my father had built a darkroom. As soon as I learned how to behave myself dad would take me to weddings with him. At the age of 14 I shot my first solo wedding and continued shooting weddings ... read more

I got my children’s Canadian citizenship photos and Canadian passport photos done at Raffensberger Photography and Framing. Neal was great with the kids and captured the perfect photos quickly. The photos were accepted by Immigration Canada the first time round, so that is a BIG WIN because they are picky. Thanks Neal! Will return to this lovely shop again in the future.
Neal was a delight when we came to Columbus for a wedding last month. He had just open shop that day but was gracious and hospitable, welcoming us in to tour the space. The best part of our charming visit was learning about his history and the care he showed in talking about the city, German Village, and even his insight into his favorite restaurants in town. This type of knowledge is invaluable for visitors to a new city. Neal we so appreciate your generosity.

Brought some oldly shaped prints to get framed with only a vague idea of what I wanted. He was super helpful in guiding me to pick out a frame and design that captured what I was looking for. Couldn't be happier with the results, will definitely return for any future framing needs!
I came to Raffensberger studio to frame a couple of my beloved pet’s paw prints after she passed away. I wanted to conserve them in a particular way, he was really helpful in helping me choose the best frame and mat to create a really special keepsake. I’m really happy with the end product.
