The Star Party was an awesome experience! The staff (mostly UNT Astronomy students) were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited to share what they knew and teach us about the night sky. We loved the star talk and learned a ton, and getting to see Saturn with my own eyes was honestly unreal. The highlight for us was seeing the stunningly colorful Trifid Nebula through a telescope - it looked like a photo taken by NASA. Such a fun, educational, and memorable night for $6 per person. We had a great time! One of the telescopes has a app you can download and get a live view of the galaxies and that was definitely our favorite!
The whole family went to one of their STAR parties so we could see Saturn's rings but ended up seeing so much more! Everyone there was friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. We will absolutely go back
We went to a star party last night and we really enjoyed listening and learning some new things about space. We also had a chance to look through several telescopes to see various stars and planets. Very cool experience.
