I just recently had a 2 level discectomy and fusion in my neck with an anterior approach. I was obviously a little scared about the surgery in general, however, the whole experience has been so much better than I even expected. Pain has been very manageable, and the incision is beautiful. Dr. Woods did a touchy surgery on my upper neck/spine. Removed and replaced 2 vertebrae. Changed my life. This was 5 years ago. Went from shooting pains down my arm and shoulders to normal
Had ACDF level 2 surgery and Dr Woods and his staff was wonderful. Helped me diagnos the pain I was suffering with and is helping with the stressful recovery. I would recommend to anyone.
Do not go to this doctor, he is the worst I have ever meet, I had 2 appointments, my first appointment he wanted to cut me open. My 2nd appointment months later he refuses to give me 2nd mri to see where my back is. Yet he says I can go back to work with a herniated disc with a tear in it. Been getting a ring around with his office for Months now. Go somewhere else.
He did 2 spinal surgeries on me and he is a wonderful doctor. His team at the hospital are wonderful also. I’m glad I had him as my surgeon. Very caring and knowledgeable
