Leaving this review for my wife; Dr. Unda Rivera is the best doctor I have ever had. He is straightforward and genuinely cares about me and my baby. He tries to explain medical things more understandably and simply. He is very responsive to questions that I had and comforted me with his experience and knowledge when I had to go to Minnesota Perinatal Physicians for further tests. My wife and I came here to consult about gynecological ovary problems and treatment. Her primary care physician took her problem very seriously and told us to find an OBGYN doctor to do more detail examination. That's why we find a doctor real quick without considering reviews on-line and that was a bad decision. Because Unda was very unprofessional, impatient and rude. Dr. Unda Rivera was absolutely amazing for my first ever OBGYN/ultrasound appointment. He walked through all the dos and donts of pregnancy, listened to my concerns and made me feel at ease with all the first time mom worries. Can't recommend him enough!
Dr. Rivera started off my first prenatal visit by telling me to focus on losing weight. I am 13 weeks pregnant, and shared with him that I'm down about 12lbs from all day morning sickness. He responded by telling me he is "not concerned about weight loss from illness." He continued with this by saying because of my BMI (which is 32), I need to start taking a daily baby aspirin to prevent preeclampsia.
