Dealing with the owner Steve has been a pleasure in the past. Last year we purchased a beautiful tree from them. Having a background in agriculture, we know how to replant and maintain trees. Unfortunately after 5 months the tree is stone cold dead. Speaking with the owner, he said he would replace and make it right. Well, that wasn’t the case and ended up in a disaster . Bought two Paw Paw trees from them. What arrived were the two healthiest, most beautiful trees better than any I had purchased before from other places. Very easy to work with. I won't go anywhere else for trees.

I'm going to let you in on a little industry secret. A lot of wholesale nurseries are doing a *terrible* job growing trees these days. Or really, any containerized stock. They don't prevent the roots from circling around as they grow. You can't easily detect this problem when you purchase them. I have avoided buying large B&B trees because of the expense, but a few I have bought from another nursery proved to have very knotted roots. Years after planting, I can look down and see roots crisscrossing away from the trunk. The t... read more

You'll find his trees planted all the way up on Manhattan island if that doesn't speak for the quality and care given to these trees.
