Excelent food and service. Nice boutique wine selections too. Sandwiches are made with thought and purpose and delicious and a must have is the crab-corn bisque soup. Restaurant is tastefully decorated with local art and planters from ban.do. Only reason not a 5, served hot soup in styrofoam. While convenient for short-term transport, placing hot, oily, liquids into styrofoam can lead to chemical leaching, structural failure, and potential health risks. Rae’s is my favorite lunch spot in Fairhope. It’s not a full service restaurant (you order at the front) but the specialty sandwiches make it feel like an upscale deli. They also stock takeaway salads and casseroles. Their lemon poppyseed chicken casserole makes for an easy and delicious dinner!
The hornet was gooey and delicious!
Cool place - the BLT sandwich was exactly like I make at home. No frills.
