I had a very positive experience with Tim / Radon Mitigation of Maryland. He called shortly after submitting a request for quote on his website. He gave me an estimate after I sent a few photos and we scheduled the appointment. He arrived on time, worked quickly, pointed out a simple thing i could do to help mitigate radon in my basement, installed a new fan, and disposed of the old fan for me all for a super reasonable price. Nice guy, too. Thank you, Tim.
I couldn’t recommend Tim more enthusiastically- he is extremely professional and knowledgeable. You could tell he cares about the quality of his work, and his prices cannot be beat. I’m very happy that we did business with him and I have recommended him to my friends and family. He’s also just an all in all good guy who I enjoyed speaking to.
Tim - stopped by today and inspected my radon exhaust fan. It was going on and off. It was 21 years old! He replaced with a new and more powerful fan. Instantly it improved removing toxic radon gas by 30%! His service was great, his price was fair and he provides a 5 year warranty. He's personable and professional. I recommend his service without hesitation.
Friendly, responsive service. Prices are competitive. Came out and did the job quickly and professionally on the date promised.
JANUARY 20, 2026 UPDATE: Radon levels have decreased significantly after Tim's installation (see pic). My levels previously were around 4-5 pCi/L (before Tim came the 7-day average on January 4, 2026 was 6.64 pCi/L). 72 hours after Tim installed the mitigation system, the levels dropped to under 0.50 pCi/L (on January 16, 2026 the 1-day average was 0.21 pCi/L). For reference, our basement is unfinished and is around 1,000-1,500 square feet. Just an overall fantastic job! ORIGINAL REVIEW: Excellent! Tim was able to come over ... read more
