After finding high radon levels in my single-family home, I reached out to the RMCA team based on a neighbor's recommendation. Lewis arrived promptly and installed a radon vent quickly and easily. When my continued monitoring showed that the radon levels had not dropped, I contacted Lewis. He returned promptly to install a larger motor. Since the upgrade, my radon levels have become extremely low.
The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, professional and responsive providing a one week turn around from appointment to work completion of Radon abatement and air quality testing. Excellent company to work with, I highly recommend Dave and Matt. If you work with Sarah or Kimmy when you call you will receive immediate information, cordial assistance and follow up.
Dave and his team care. Radon is a very serious carcinogen I was never aware of here on Long Island. When I found out my readings were 400% the safe limit, Dave quickly reviewed the house with me over Facetime and had a great technician at my house in a week. Dave stands behind the systems too if it fails they will come back out to ensure it is working. Even if your readings are close to the "safe limit" I would still put the system in because I am now reading .2-.4 vs 10-14. No level of carcinogen is ok
If only there were more than 5 stars to rate RMCA!! Our experience was one for the books and I wish more contractors were of this caliber. My husband and I used RMCA for a radon remediation system install. From the very beginning RMCA made the experience super easy. Great company - I can’t recommend them enough. Their pricing is very affordable, and the overall value is impossible to beat. I did run into a few minor issues with my installation, but Dave was a true professional and stood by his word, working through every detail until everything was resolved. In the end, my radon levels were reduced to under 1, and the installation itself was clean and very professional.
