About this business

Your exotic and companion pet veterinary hospital. Radnor Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1981 in an old Victorian house in the heart of Wayne where one doctor provided care and boarding for just dogs and cats. In 2001, Dr. Len Donato came in and began seeing rabbits, birds, rodents, reptiles and other exotic pets. Our hospital provides care to many different types of exotic pets and wildlife. In October of 2011, we moved our hospital to a much larger more modern facility across the street. Our new building was once an ol... read more

This place killed my dog! I dropped my 6 lb pompoo Max along with my golden retriever off to be kenneled on Saturday to be boarded for a few days while we went to the shore thinking they would be in good hands. I picked them up on Tuesday morning and was handed a lethargic dog who was barely responsive -when the girl handed him to me and came back with his bag of things I mentioned to her he seemed "off" and she said something about sometimes they get like that. While I was waiting for them to bring out my golden retriev... read more

Dr Ulrich could not have made me feel more comfortable. She offered the calmness and answers that I needed and provided relief for our one year old guinea pig, Uma, from an abscess she developed. She was quick to treat her and was gentle. I will be back!

We love Radnor. They have provided our guinea pigs with nothing but the best care since we took our very sick girl Chihiro to them for the first time in 2018. And they were the best when Chihiro developed lymphoma a year later and passed at home, and when our second girl Sophie passed very suddenly while in the office last year when we brought her in for sudden seizures and showing no responses to sound or touch. They are so sweet on our little babies and we feel so at ease knowing our fur babies remain in amazing health tha... read more

I did already share how happy I was at the treatment my dog received and I recommend to everyone I could. I will continue to do so. The care was above and beyond just as it was the first time I was there and the total bill was less than a quote I got just to walk into a after hour clinic. Thankfully I double checked and Radnor was still open. I was so relieved because I knew I would get top notch treatment which was the deciding factor not the cost. Not that the savings wasn’t appreciated. It was just the icing on the cake. ... read more

Radnor Vet Hospital may have saved my 4 year old Netherlands Dwarf "Otter" rabbit - a retired show-bunny - Mr. Bean - extreme GI stasis - staff and especially the vet in charge were fabulous in every respect - professional, compassionate, clear and specifically proactive on behalf of our pet's health.

Reposting my google review .. I don’t have much to say about the other vets as I have only seen Dr. Stephanie Principati. She is incredibly kind, gentle, knowledgeable and very understanding. One of the best vets we have seen with all of our fur babies. She is great with my bun. Vet techs are awesome and gentle. Front desk is very kind and attentive. All around great practice. Everyone in the bunny community knows to come here! My commute from Philly to Radnor Vet is well worth it!
