I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the unprofessional and discourteous treatment I received during my ultrasound appointment at RadiologySA on April 3, 2025, at 9:00 AM at Campbeltown. The sonographer, who identified himself as Don (Only after I asked for it), exhibited behavior that I found both unprofessional and unkind. Thank you for taking great care of my and my baby. Thank you to all the receptionist for being so welcoming and having to deal with a lot of unkind and forgetful people (yes, a referral is required for a scan and it is no one else’s fault if you forgot it!)
Whilst the reception staff was very warm and friendly, the radiologist was terrible! She conducted my mother's ultrasound biopsy in quite a hurried manner being forceful and didn't even give enough chance for her local anaesthetic to be applied for it to work properly. She spoke to my mum quite rudely and made her feel so uncomfortable and in pain. Although the biopsy was guided by an ultrasound, after taking several samples, in the end the result was inconclusive as she didn't perform the procedure properly. We paid $200 fo... read more
