Had booked for a friend to have a specific scan on her foot. Requested a specific day and time which they were able to accommodate, so details of the type of scan required were read out twice to clarify what was needed. Booking made. Received two text messages to be at the clinic 15 minutes prior to allotted time. I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received during my ultrasound appointment on Tuesday, May 12th, at 3pm, for a pelvis, abdominal, and breast ultrasound. My experience with the sonographers was exceptionally negative. The initial sonographer exhibited unprofessional conduct, characterized by a lack of decorum, rudeness, bluntness, abruptness, and abusive behavior. Her demeanor was entirely unacceptable. It happened in April. I was rejected to have an urgent ultrasound scan of my abdomen. The reception said I had to have 'booking' beforehand. The referral was marked 'Urgent' by my GP as she saw my symptoms that need urgent attention. Then I looked for another pathology Quantum Imaging. They accepted my referral. At the end, I was sent to Emergency as the inflamed gallbladder and blockage in the bile duct because of a gallstone.

I had a radiography technician (not sure if that’s what thier called) named Jess do a pelvic ultrasound sound. Definitely hands down a wonderful experience. She made me feel so comfortable. Explained everything before doing procedures. Put me right at ease. Highly recommend when I went in nervous walked out totally calm.

I have never visited Exact Radiology Underwood before (I usually go to Chapel Hill) and was very nervous because of the upcoming procedure. Thanks to the team of Dr Hien Lu, sonographer Jess and cytologist Dan, I started feeling more or less at ease there. They were so friendly, attentive, kind and re-assuring. Jess took heaps of her time to have an informative chat with me and advise me of my next options. It is great to see many more receptionists at Underwood compared to Chapel Hill.
