Absolutely ridiculous practice. Received a bill from debt collections and it was sent to them within 5 months of the original appointment. When I called they stated I was given 2 previous letters from them with a bill which is not true. I never received anything from them and would not let something go unpaid. I would have called especially considering this bill is a complete surprise to me and was not explained I would have a bill from them in the first place. Received debt collection notice like everyone else. No bill received and no communication. Pay your doctors in one bill instead of farming things out to 12 different companies. Terrible practices.
Apparently these doctors would rather damage your credit score than give you a call to request payment. Shame on y’all
Like others have said, 1 star is too many. My husband was in a car accident in August 2023 and with dealing with attorney's it takes a while, they sent this bill to collections already less than 6 months, no communication, no bill received etc.
