Jordan at the intake has been there for a few years I’ve been scheduled at HVM. He’s super nice. Radiology has always been great for me here. The gentleman I had a scan with today went above & beyond to make sure we got a great view of the actual area of pain. (Shoulder vs scapula) He gave me an opportunity to look at the films as well. It may seem trivial, but when someone is friendly, efficient and involves you in your own health care process, it’s everything. Also, a shout out to the Cafeteria for doing what they do :)
Make sure you get an early appointment, or bring a tent if it’s an afternoon one. 2hrs after arriving I get seen finally.
First experience: Yesterday I had both an ultrasound to determine if there’s changes in a hernia this imaging department found 8 years ago. Colleen, the tech told me there were no images found in my chart. She said if I had it done it wasn’t through Harborview. I had to look at mychart on my phone myself and show her. She changed her story that she did say she saw it. I believe she only said that because I pointed it out in front of two staff members at the front desk. She also lacked bedside manner.
