We have schedule for CT scan with my patient at 4pm with check in time of 2:30pm. We arrived 2pm and checked in. The only instruction they gave us was NPO 3hours prior check in so we did. My patient cant tolerate thin liquids. We were told that we need to provide thickener for his drink. I asked if they can provide it or i can pharmacy but they just want it reschedule. If you value your health privacy, go elsewhere. I had an MRI done here, and they gave me a CD with someone else's info on it! I feel bad for that person, it wasn't good news. I wonder who got my report? Despite a lot of discussion back and forth, they couldn't assure me that my info wasn't breached as well. Complete HIPAA violation. The woman receptionist (I was told she was new) at Mills Radiology was rude and unprofessional. Overall bad experience.
After scheduling an appointment for an MRI weeks ahead of time and coordinating the appointment with a Medtronics representative to manage my pacemaker during the MRI, and after "pre-registering" which is essentially pre-paying for the MRI, they called as I was ready to leave for the appointment to cancel! The scheduler said they were having electricity problems and for "patient safety" reasons, they were cancelling my appointment.
