I utilized Radio Ranch because they installed the avionics in my plane 10+ years ago- prior to my ownership. I "assumed" because they did the original installation, they would know how to repair the S-TEC-30 altitude hold issue. After removing the pitch servo, Radio Ranch sent it back to the OEM for repair and reinstalled the unit a couple of weeks later. Unfortunately, during the flight test, the problem actually got worse.
