Love, love, love Dr. Rao! A friend recommended her and she is great. I have been looking for a primary for years and will continue to go to her for sure.

I came in for physicals and told her about my hyperthyroidism and she still asked me to exercise and calcium tablets. After this my metabolism sped up and symptoms got worse because of which i had to go to ER to the same hospital after which she said I might have psychological problem. So we left and went to another ER next time where they diagnosed and started treatment for hyperthyroidism which becomes worse with exercise.

I regret even taking that chance with an inexperienced doctor like Dr. Rao. I had a swollen throat for a month where I couldn't swallow or speak beyond a whisper and asked her to take a look. She took a very brief look and told me I had a cold. I asked her to run a Strep test or see if an antibiotic would help. She dismissed me with my pain and no medication. I ended up seeing an ENT who said I had swollen glands and what I had was indeed not normal. I would need surgery. I refuse to see her ag

Normally, I don't trust doctors because of my past experiences. However, a friend told me about Dr. Rao and I took a chance to visit her. She was very friendly and made sure she answered all my questions, as well as addressed the needs that I had for that visit. I decided to make her my primary care physician. Two thumbs up to Dr. Rao. Dr. Rao is my primary care doctor. She is thorough and what is very important to me is that she truly cares about her patients! I highly recommend this doctor!
