Lynn & Linda Rader live on the Rader Family Farm located on the west side of Normal on Ropp Road. Lynn and his 6 younger siblings were raised on this Guernsey Dairy farm by their parents, Glenn and Margaret Rader. Glenn and Margaret moved onto this farm when they were married in 1945 when Glenns Aunt and Uncle moved into town. The family grew up milking cows and showing cows in 4-H. We thoroughly enjoyed the day. Staff were very polite and helpful. The grounds and even porta potties were clean.
We had a family day, coming from 3 different directions all about an average hour away, with 12 of us coming. This was a great day!! Many activities for the kids (of all ages) to do and even some for adults to enjoy. It was spacious and very clean with several benches for sitting, although it was not a busy day, I could see the sitting to relax for seniors and handicapped possibly needing more places if it was busy. What a great place to take family where there's something for everyone! I LOVE WCIC playing throughout! Several more tables& chairs and benches to sit throughout the activity area. Clean establishment and courteous staff! I grew up going to Tanners every year but this will be our new family tradition!
We had a fun time at the Rader pumpkin patch! It's a really nice place and ALOT for kids of all ages to do! This was our first time there and I would definitely go back again. We did not do the big corn maze because it had rained the day before we went and they said that it was muddy. But we had a great time! I would recommend for you to check it out 🎃
I took 2 yr old granddaughter. She loved all rhe activities. She spent most of her time in the playhouse. I had to force her out to try other things before it rained. I definitely recommend it for families.
Innovative and fun activities! I had a blast! The snack stand is the only thing I would change. Either larger portions or lower prices for that. But the activities, the employees, and the atmosphere in general was FANTASTIC!!!
