I cannot say enough wonderful things about Rachel! We were referred to her by our local lactation consultant after we had been struggling with bottle refusal due to a tongue tie and high palate for months. She wouldn’t even try a drop from a bottle. I found Rachel while scrolling on Instagram, looking for help with my bottle refuser baby. And oh man, I’m so so grateful that we did! We met virtually and she immediately identified the issues and talked us through different techniques and exercises to help our baby. It took some time and patience, but I can happily say that my baby is taking a bottle easily now!!! If I could do it all over again, I would’ve consulted with her sooner! 10/10 would recommend!
Rachel is incredible!! She is highly knowledgeable, knew what my baby’s latch issue was before even laying eyes on my baby and had us latched by the end of our session after which my baby fed from both sides sans shield for the first time since birth. The feeling of knowing I’ll be able to nurse my baby without shields or extra pumping and bottle feeds is absolutely amazing. A huge weight was lifted off my shoulders today. I can’t recommend (or thank) Rachel enough.
Working with Rachel was a critical part of my postpartum journey as a first-time mom. Rachel is focused on finding solutions to ensure both mom (or feeding parent(s)) and baby have their needs and goals met. Working with Rachel also made me feel extremely validated and seen in my experience, and she made me really feel that I was doing all that I could for my baby. I feel truly lucky to have found her and had the opportunity to work together.
