I was torn between posting an honest review or not because this honest review also happens to be a negative one. I am someone who values my health and I care about the overall well being and health of others as well. Rachel will give you what I’d like to call a manicure and pedicure from hell. This is unacceptable and there are many blood diseases that you are at high risk of catching when a nail tech refuses to clean her tools. $180 before a mandatory 20% tip and a risk of HIV, HSV1/2 or hepatitis? I get my nails done frequently by another artist. But my friend raved about Rachel and her work, bc of her Instagram. So my friend booked an appt to see her and I was waiting on her experience so I could get mine done as well. Let me say I was in complete shock! Zero retention, nails didn’t even last a week! Plus she got cut a few times, could’ve gotten infected!! Thank goodness nothing happened. Absurdly overpriced service for the quality.
Don’t go here, not only are all the 5 star reviews fake. They also do terrible nails and overprice it so much you’re better off going anywhere else that would cost way less than the $300 they charged one of my friends. Not only did they make up charges to overcharge her. Her nails didn’t even last a week. And the nail artist cut her cuticles numerous times than proceeded to file over her cuts. The nail artist seems rather gauche and lacking in experience surprised the place is still even open. With how terrible they work. Sa... read more
Bad craft, worse service, and horrible price.. over $300 for nicking cuticles multiple times, poor attention to detail, nails that fall off within the week, and a nail tech who can’t own up to her lack of competence. Save your money and take your business elsewhere if you care about good quality that’s worth your while.
Rachel Nail Art has a 4.6 star rating with 127 reviews.
