The whole experience with Dr. Torrez was so bizarre and unprofessional. I came in for an annual physical. She disregarded anything I said and was completely preoccupied with my ability to bear children. After a minute, she walked out of the exam room without giving me any sort of physical exam. When I got home, I got billed for a totally different appointment without any sort of heads up. It took months to figure out the billing issue. If you're a woman, I would steer clear of this office.
I’ve been seeing Dr.Torrez since before I was even born, she’s been our family doctor forever. As I got older and started struggling with things like my periods and mental health issues she became very dismissive and tried to put me on things that were only short term solutions. This past year has been absolute hell for me, I lost my soul dog and the grief was absolutely unbearable. Answered all my questions, very knowledgable and polite
I never write reviews but this was the worst doctor appointment I’ve ever been to. I’m a young female (26) dealing with spinal issues and headaches. Dr. Torrez totally ignored anything I said and wouldn’t let me get any images or lab work done. I told her I was in pain from headaches on almost a weekly basis and she blamed it on how my body is built as a woman. I highly recommend going to a different doctor who actually cares about their patients health.
