I absolutely LOVE Dr. Dern! However... The scheduling staff could be A LOT BETTER! I've been waiting on my hysterectomy to be scheduled for going on 4 weeks now. I'm already EXTREMELY anxious and this wait time isn't helping. I'm not eating.. Barely sleeping. Lost 27 lbs... Which is good... But not the healthiest way to do it.... Been in the er 2x due to pain, vomiting and belly issues. I've called and left as of today 8 messages now... Still.. Nothing....
My experience with Dern for both my children was amazing. I had two caesarean, my first being unscheduled as my sons head was too large to fit through my pelvic bone and my second was planned. My incision both times healed beautifully. I can say that I am fully comfortable with choosing her for another delivery or any of my gynecology needs. Now granted everyone has a different experience with every doctor but I can honestly say every appointment with her has been pleasant.
