A jewel in the crown of the Southern Outer Banks. The abundance of wildlife is a testament to the stewardship of government/non-profit/private partners. Thank you for everything that you do for the wildlife, from wild horses to sea urchins to crabs of all shapes and sizes!
We took a 2 hr. boat ride this week with Paula of NCDENR. She is informative and friendly. Our small group saw different types of birds, dolphins, and wild horses on the island. Wow, this ride with her at the helm was the highlight of our trip. We hope this program continues so we can enjoy it again during our next visit south to this beautiful area.
