I had a tumor on my right wrist that was pressing on my ulnar nerve, which understandably made me very anxious. I consulted four different surgeons, including one from Harvard, but ultimately chose Dr. Hooper — and I’m very glad I did. I developed arthritis off my left hand between my thumb and wrist. It was horribly painful. Nothing helped. I couldn’t use my left hand at all, I wasn’t sleeping and my quality of life was terrible. Dr. Hopper did surgery on my wrist and thumb. The day after surgery I was pain free! It’s been 6 months since my surgery. Still pain free! Full mobility back in my left wrist and thumb. I’m very grateful for Dr. Hoppers help! Great bedside manner, timely and caring!
Dr. Hooper and her team are absolutely amazing. Needing bilateral arm (hand and cubital nerve decompression) Dr. Hooper and her team went above and beyond for assessing my concerns and needs as a patient in office. Along with both surgical locations providing safe surgical care and ensuring post surgery healing. I would recommend her to everyone. Such a talented surgeon and amazing provider.
Dr. Hooper is an excellent hand specialist and surgeon. She has a wonderful bedside manner and took the time to explain everything clearly. I was treated for Dupuytren’s contracture in my small (fifth) finger, which had become deformed. She did a fantastic job straightening it and the outcome exceeded my expectations. Her follow-up care was just as thorough and attentive. I highly recommend Dr. Hooper.
