I entrusted Dr. Bluebond-Langner and her colleague Dr. Zhao (urologist) at NYU Langone for gender affirming surgery in December 2024. My vaginoplasty experience here was life changing. Dr. Bluebond-Langner is not only an amazing surgeon but also a genuinely caring person. The results are beautiful, and I feel affirmed every day. The nurses and office staff were patient and supportive, even when I had a million questions during recovery. I absolutely recommend this team to anyone considering surgery.
I saw Dr. Bluebond-Langner at a consult for bottom surgery at NYU Langone Health in July 2024. She told me at the time I was a good candidate and we would proceed. They informed me last week that she'd changed her mind. I argued with the social worker and called the patient advocate and am awaiting follow up.
