Dr. Root provides high-quality psychotherapy. As a student, I had the opportunity to observe therapy sessions for a semester. Not only is Dr. Root an incredible psychologist, she is passionate about her work, highly knowledgeable, ethical, and she is a skilled educator. For her clients, Dr. Root provides support, helps people set realistic goals, and teaches them how to achieve those goals. Rachel is by far one of the most caring dedicated psychologist I've felt with in that last 12 years of treatment. I was with her for about 3 years. Once we had extinguished our options I moved to further treatment in areas she felt would help me that she did not accommodate. Very honest and straight forward. I was able to seek freely without judgment. Every person is different. I know in the first session if the Dr. is going to be a fit, and she was for me.
