I often visit this location on my way to work. For the most part, my experiences are quick.and decent. But today, I had probably one of the rudest, most dismissive interactions with the pulled back and buned haired, young lady behind the counter. As I approached to pay, she barely acknowledged me, nor spoke. She rang me up and didn't say my total, or perhaps she barely whispered it. Luckily I looked at the card machine for myself. I love this RaceTrac as I work right down the road and see the workers often, they’re very friendly and I usually end up having a short conversation with one or two of them in the morning time. My only gripe is how horrendously slow the diesel pumps are. I’m not sure why, but they are literally the slowest pumps I have ever sat at. Every other RaceTrac location (I frequent Prairieville as well) seems to have reasonably quick pumps, but these things are slow as Christmas. I’m sure other people would agree. I am a regular customer of this store but the women who work at night are super rude racists. I went to use the bathroom and they wouldn't let me in but someone just like him came and they let him in. It was the most discriminatory thing I've ever experienced and all for being Latino, visibly Latino. If I could prosecute it legally I would, since it's a terrible humiliation and even more so today with the anti-racial laws that exist. But I know that if they continue with this kind of personnel it will soon pass.
I needed gas and I preferred to cross the street and pay more because the treatment of the early morning employees of this place is truly horrible, rude to the point of inciting violence. I will never return to this place. The owner doesn't seem to care. If this is how the employees are, the owner must be worse.
