over quoted ! fuel pump replacement & timing cover gasket replacement......3 hour job + $200.00 for parts=$1120.00 !!!!!!! same job quoted at 2 other reputable repair workshops priced at $550.00 including parts !!!!!! 1995 toyota townace van RAC stands for ripoff all customers.
This was some time ago, so I hope they've improved. My wife's car stopped and I had it towed to RAC Morley. It was a dual fuel VY Commodore that previously had not missed a beat. I suspected the fuel pump was faulty, as did the RAC patrolman. They repaired it but said in the handover that it required a gas service because it had a "slight hesitation" when running on gas (my Dad was the first licensed LPG fitter in WA, so I know a bit about how they work and said that this was highly unlikely).
