Had a major round of repairs done on my Hilux through RAC Balcatta and couldn’t be happier with the result. The vehicle now drives better than it ever has in the 10+ years I’ve owned it. Big thanks to Hayden in particular for taking the time to answer all my questions and work through the quote properly with me. Extremely disappointing experience with RAC. I trusted this business expecting a professional and reliable service, but what I experienced was the complete opposite. I took my car in for an air conditioning issue and was clearly advised that the problem could be resolved with regassing and a component replacement. I was specifically asked to return for this, which made it sound like a defined solution, not just a diagnostic process. I followed their advice in good faith. Unfortunately, my experience with RAC has been one of the worst. Their handling was very poor, and their attitude was unprofessional. In some situations, it even felt like there were subtle threats instead of genuine support. Customer service was weak, and there was no real effort to resolve issues. Honestly, I would not recommend them. There are far better options out there in terms of professionalism and respect for customers.
