Yesterday was eye-opening in an uncomfortable and unfortunate way. I have been a member of mechanics bank in Morro Bay sense they switched from Rabobank. My daughter is 11, we started her first savingccount with mechanics bank. She pulled all of her money out almost every time she put money in. Of course paying the fees on top of it. After this account has been closed for almost a year, we decided to re-open it. The drive-up window is slow and I feel like I am being held captive since I send my transaction through the chute and have to wait and wait. One time it was more than five minutes, so I called the bank to let them know I was waiting outside at the window. My least favorite teller never recognizes us, treats us like strangers asking to see ID, and questions our transactions.
