Worked with James on my Buccaneer 14 build. I cannot compliment him and the Rabco team enough on the entire process from start to finish. For the boat itself, it far surpasses my expectations. Fit and finish is top notch. The ride and performance is surprising for a 14 foot skiff. The Suzuki 25 is smooth and quiet too. Fishability is also a huge plus. Buccaneer 14' my first ever boat at 74! Ryan Churchill and his crew are a pleasure to work with, and the boat is perfect for a guy who likes to fish 99% of the time by himself in Charlotte Harbor. My Son who is a Charter Captain and owns two great skiffs a Hewes Maverick & Hells Bay Whipray was impressed with the build quality. I can attest to the fact that trailering, Launching and retrieval are incredibly easy for one person to accomplish. Great boat I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase
All I have to say if you don't check them out you may regret it later. To have a boat built at your own personal spec is satisfaction like no other and Ryan, Chad and Juan made a dream come thru. Quality at is best. I do it again
What a great experience. Buying a boat is stressful....buying a custom boat from a small company is even more stressful.....but, Ryan and the folks at Rabco made it a great experience. I gotta say, I emailed, texted and called more than I probably needed to, but Ryan answered every single time. As for the boat, I love it. Working with Rabco to get one of their bare hulls for me to build out myself was a great experience, with great communication along the way. I needed something that would be both strong and lightweight to navigate the tight shallow inshore creeks, but still enable me to go spearfish and harvest lobster down in the keys all while having confidence when the weather turns.
