Phenomenal food in a lovely restaurant with staff that goes above and beyond. Easily the best place to eat in Lewes. EVERYTHING on the menu is amazing, which is a real achievement.
I’m upset and embarrassed to have to write this review. A week before, I made a reservation for 6pm on July 3rd for myself and an out of town friend who loves Indian food . We were 20 minutes early. After being told at the door that they were glad we were early, we were told that we might not be happy with where we were being seated. I should preface this review by saying we never actually ate here. You'll understand why shortly. We had a reservation for 6pm. We were 20 minutes early. We were a party of 4 for dinner on a Saturday evening. We had the chicken tikka, dal, spicy chicken and channa. All were enjoyable. The service was excellent - patient, detailed explanation to our questions about the dishes. Nice ambience. Recommended!
