I wouldn't trust these guys building my Legos, would honestly give zero stars if possible.
R. A. Kalfas Construction did a beautiful job in rebuilding the top of our chimney. They were on time, used exact materials that matched the brick on our house, and cleaned all areas at completion. We highly recommended them for any and all construction needs.
We cannot recommend R.A Kalfas enough! They recently completed a remodel of our kitchen and we are thrilled with the results! From the estimate and planning sessions with Chris, to the meetings with amazing recommended suppliers, to the polite, skilled, and respectful workers on this project - - Kalfas helped take our design vision years in the making, and made it a reality. Overall we had a good experience. There were a few hiccups here and there but nothing major. I felt communication could have been better- but I understand companies take on multiple jobs and spread themselves thin- they have too. The lead on our project was always running over to fix whatever little things came up. I would say you need to be sure your plans and your expected costs are examined with a fine tooth comb. We were told we could communicate old school, via email and text- they cannot communicate, period. Two people in the company actually called to yell at me after I called to see if roofing work was completed. All the owner could say when I wrote him a letter to share my concerns was that was not their character. After reading the other poor reviews, I have a hunch someone from Kalfas will post a rebuttal that is inaccurate. We recommend people find an old school company or contract directly with a person.
