I used A&R Plumbing for a backflow test at my home. I was told to leave a check for $75 under my front door mat. A&R arrived while I was home, never tried to contact me by text or ringing my doorbell, and I had no idea they were testing my backflow. Adam R failed my backflow test, shut down my sprinklers without me knowing about it, left a report under the mat offering to fix my backflow for $285. Really disappointed with A&R’s service. Many homeowners in our subdivision used them for backflow prevention testing, and surprisingly, a large number of us “failed” and were each quoted hundreds of dollars in repairs. That alone should’ve been a warning sign about how this company operates. When I called on the day of my scheduled repair to ask for an ETA, they canceled my appointment immediately just because I wanted to speak with the technician before handing over a check. This was my first experience with them. I needed my sump pump replaced and they were able to send someone out the next day. I was a little hesitant at first as the guys looked younger and inexperienced. They were able to do the job in a couple hours. My wife also asked them about a stain in our sink when we bought it that we couldn't get rid of and they removed it in an instant. Would use again!
