R Ts Hobby Haus is an institution in Richmond. My first memories of it date back to the early and mid 1970 when it was located at the old neighborhood post office location at 18th and East Main Street. My father and grandfather used to take me there to buy collector coins and model train supplies. I just moved back into the area and immediately went looking for a hobby shop. Walking into RTs was like stepping into a time machine. It has everything you could ask for -planes, trains, boats, cars, R/C, collectibles, and even race apparal. Wooden kits, plastic kits, slot cars are all there. There is a full range of supplies and tools as well as parts. There are even loads of handbuilt models on display. Its just like the old days. This is a builders paradise.
