R-Tek came to our residence on two separate occasions. When we first bought our home, they updated the attic insulation in the house and garage. Just recently, we had our roof replaced and they worked with the roofing company to insulate the areas that couldn't be reached on their first visit (unless we wanted to open up our ceilings). Both times, the workers were polite & did a great job cleaning up. Overall, I was very impressed with this company and would absolutely recommend them to others.
My initial opinion on this company was very positive. The owners estimate seemed fair and detailed until it came to doing the actual work. The night before the job was supposed to start, the owner decided to just then tell me that I would not be able to be in the house at all during the foam insulation. I can understand this because of the fumes, but forgetting to tell me ahead of time is unacceptable. The day came to do the insulation and nobody showed up.
